Джеймс Райт — er, James Wright has signed to play in the KHL with Admiral Vladivostok. (Hat tip Elite Prospects, and General Fanager, whose tweet was staring at me when I woke up and so got the retweet.) I laughed at myself for tagging that green, which we’ve always denoted as “signed in Europe,” on our Free Agents tracker page. Vladivostok* is probably closer to North America (Alaska, at least) than to Europe. Might want to update that terminology, Fornabaio.
*-It’s a meaningful city in many ways, and yet when I hear Vladivostok, I can’t help but mumble to myself, “index, I copy from old Vladivostok telephone directory“.
