Bridgeport stands at 16 forwards, nine defensemen and two goalies after four moves this afternoon. Goalie Eamon McAdam was reassigned to Missouri (ECHL), and defenseman Ryan Obuchowski and forward Aaron Berisha join him there. Forward Kevin Morris was let go from his tryout.
So that’s 27 men here, matching the Islanders without Grabovski and Gionta if I’ve counted right. (The Big Club has eight D and three G instead of Bridgeport’s 9/2). The Islanders play their preseason finale in about two and a half hours and have to be down to 23 active by Tuesday evening. Bridgeport doesn’t have a number to cut down to by Thursday but one assumes will have another few moves to make.
