The Big One: Thursday notes

(Not the Big One. Pretty big; not the Big One. But it’s the fourth anniversary of The Big One. Those Twitter links in there are still fun.)

The Sound Tigers apparently practiced today. I guess this is a dusting to some people, but anyway. I didn’t join them but was told things didn’t look too different. We’ll see tomorrow in Providence how the lineup shakes out and how Carter Verhaeghe may fit in over the course of the weekend.

Because of the way the coverage week worked out, actually worked ahead, so stories in the paper tomorrow, including a Verhaeghe note, fun Ryan Pulock stats and thoughts on constantly playing the two teams you’re chasing.

The Sound Tigers’ morning visit to Toronto next month will air on TSN2 in Canada, one of nine games on that network the rest of the way.

Arthur Staple reported that Jack Capuano and Vegas are talking.
