Streaks of all sorts: Hershey pregame

That eight-game winning streak ended a couple of weeks ago, and hey, tied for fourth in all-time Sound Tigers history (third if you only count single-season streaks), wasn’t that remarkable or whatever.

This six-game streak now? Tied for 11th. Or 10th if you count only single-season streaks. Really ninth, because one was the seven-game streak that covered the last game against Manitoba, the sweep against St. John’s and the first two games against Hamilton in the 2002 playoffs.

So this team’s doing some crazy stuff, a lot of which comes back to that guy in goal today, going for 12 in a row himself.

A couple of swaps for Bridgeport; Jon Landry out to end the three-in-three again, with Jesse Graham in for him, and Josh Holmstrom back in for Ross Johnston. Sounds like the same as last night for Hershey, right down to Vitek Vanecek starting in net off last night’s shutout. Think I even spelled “Vanecek” right this time.
