The Chicago Steel won the Clark Cup, the ECHL USHL* championship, tonight in overtime in a winner-take-all Game 5. Not bad. The Steel roster includes Ridgefield’s Adam Karashik, Greenwich’s Jack Badini, Sacred Heart recruit Marc Johnstone (the team’s captain) and assistant coach Peter Mannino.
Elsewhere: Crew tears down a wall at the Rhode Island state house in Providence. finds a vault — from not that long ago, apparently — that no one knew was there or knows how to open. Amazing. (H/t Atlas Obscura.)
