Hello 31/farewell Titans: Wednesday notes

The Post-Dispatch reports that the Blues will wind up with San Antonio in 2018-19. (Hat tip: Patrick Williams.)

The Federal League’s Danbury Titans announced Wednesday morning that they’re shutting down.

Scratch Adirondack games from my “when should I go to Worcester” list for the moment.

Congrats to the TV folks in Allentown on the AHL’s Ellery Award.

A Bleacher Report story on Venezuelan ballplayers as things get scarier in their homeland.

Entertainment Weekly reports that this is the last year for “The Middle.” I’ll miss it. Great, underrated television show.

And RIP, Sam Shepard and Ara Parseghian.
