Coupla comebacks: Wednesday notes

A couple of returns today, Michael Dal Colle and Travis St. Denis, in no-contact red. Still day-to-day, said Brent Thompson, as are the still-out Eamon McAdam and Mitchell Vande Sompel. There is no particular rush.

There is a game tomorrow, though, bright ‘n’ early at the Mall. We may get the lineup later tonight. Was wondering, with the closed building, if they might have considered switching it to more of a scrimmage, added special-teams time or whatever. Thompson said no, just won’t have a crowd: “For me, it’s a regular game,” he said. “It’s an opportunity to impress.”

Hartford, meanwhile, has put its staff and players to work, and I have to check where in the CBA this is covered. Speaking of Tambellinis, Jeff Tambellini has joined the coaching staff at his alma mater. (Hat tip Elite Prospects on that.)

The Aud in Utica has a sponsor. Guess someone’s gotta pay for the renovations.

And… who needs bones?
