Midwestern geography: Wednesday notes

Bridgeport did indeed take the day off. They’re back at it tomorrow. We will be back at something else, so we’ll catch up Friday. Happy Thanksgiving.

Worcester went out to Wheeling and lost in a shootout tonight despite a couple of Chris Langkow points. One thing I would not have expected until looking it up: The Wheel to Toledo is just about four hours. Would’ve figured longer. And that’s going the long way. Anyway, that’s the next ride for the Railers

Ryan Haggerty has approximately 84 goals in the past month. Meanwhile, Jaime Sifers is among the injured on a banged-up Utica defense corps, Ben Birnell writes.

Danick Martel got the call to Philadelphia. See if he’s still there Saturday.

ECHL story on referee Liam Sewell, who’s already worked a couple of Bridgeport games.

And RIP, David Cassidy.
