Depraved on account-a they’re deprived: Monday notes

I have a car. I have intermittent (and airy) water. Conservation of messes.

The Sound Tigers are in Charlotte with troubles of their own: Steve Bernier stayed home, reportedly ill. Another call-up is a possibility to make 13 again. Edit, 6:45: Darryl Hunt found Jeff Kubiak on the ECHL transactions. ATO’d last year without an appearance; 11 points in 34 games for the Railers.

Elsewhere, the Rangers called up Peter Holland and sent down Boo Nieves. Neither played this afternoon in the Pack’s loss in Springfield (that second period) to end a grueling road weekend.

Danick Martel was injured on a hit on Saturday; here was Tony Androckitis’ update from Scott Gordon on Sunday.

Fresh off his hat trick, Andrey Pedan is AHL Player of the Week. Sacred Heart alum and onetime (literally) Sound Tiger Justin Danforth won the ECHL’s all-star fastest skater competiton.

Bye week over, Tage Thompson is back up with the Blues. He has 17 points in 25 AHL games.

Alan Sepinwall put together a list of 10 starter “ER” episodes now that it’s streaming on Hulu. It is amazing how much the entertainment landscape has changed in those not-quite-25 years.

Ice jams. Good gravy.

And RIP, Nico Mallozzi, Dolores O’Riordan and Doug Harvey.
