Full 60, February edition: Wednesday notes

Much like the last time they got called in on a day off, 60 minutes of hard-skating drills this morning. It included Josh Ho-Sang in no-contact red; still day-to-day. It also included Andre Benoit for the first time.

They’ll practice again tomorrow before heading to Providence on Friday. Last Friday morning, the Bruins were just three points ahead of the Sound Tigers. That’s eight points now.

The Ontario-Berlin exhibition last night in California went to the home team. Matt Moulson had a couple of points, dealing his brother-in-law a minus with the goal.

St. Louis sent Tage Thompson down to San Antonio.

Slovenia came from 2-0 down to beat the U.S. in the men’s Olympic opener. Goal and an assist for Brian O’Neill. Slovakia was down 2-0 in the first 4:08 but came back to beat Russia 3-2. Tomas Marcinko got his name in the paper with a tripping penalty four minutes after Peter Ceresnak scored the game-winner.

The big USA-Canada women’s group-play game is tonight at 10:10 on NBCSN.

A neat piece from Atlas Obscura on hockey in Korea.

And RIP, Ben Agajanian.
