Rearranged lines for Bridgeport tonight, scoreless in 148:08 (which, for good or ill, is a period and a half away from the five longest streaks in team history, but more than a game away from the team record). The standings are starting to slip away, with Charlotte nine points up, the Penguins and Phantoms 11 ahead, and even the Wolf Pack three up; talk games in hand all you’d like, but those Hartford points don’t go away.
Hartford got Brandon Halverson back from the Rangers this morning after he made his NHL debut in Ottawa yesterday. First look at the new-look Pack, with Brendan Smith down and assorted guys up and the trade with Hershey that sent Joe Whitney away.
