Ludlowe Falls Big To St Joseph’s

Ludlowe Lost 16-1 to St. Joe’s on Friday afternoon at Kiwanis Field.

It was ugly all throughout the game for the Falcons.

The Cadets scored multiple runs in every inning but the fourth, and inning where Ludlowe was able to hold them scoreless.

Ludlowe struggled in all aspects of the game, and it hurt even more due to the fact that St. Joe’s is very good with out getting helped from the opponent.

Ludlowe made six errors and and had other plays that should have been made but were not scored errors.

Ludlowe’s three pitchers all walked their first hitters, and walks always come back to hurt. Even when they weren’t walking hitters they were falling behind in counts and giving the St. Joe’s hitters good pitchers, and the Cadets knew what to do with them.

Offensively, Ludlowe was only to manage one run on two hits, with the run coming in the 6th inning.

Ludlowe falls to 3-3 on the season, 2-2 in the FCIAC. They play next on the road at Staples on Monday at 11 am.
