Ludlowe Football: Ludlowe Dominates Danbury For Second Win In A Row

Ludlowe beat Danbury convincingly by a score of 34-8. The win gives Ludlowe a 2 game win streak.

Ludlowe scored first when Matt White ran from 3 yards out to put the Falcons up 7-0.

Danbury took the lead on an Alfred Valentine touchdown and converted the 2 point conversion to go up 8-7. That would be the score after 1 quarter.

In the 2nd quarter, Ludlowe took control of the game.

Ludlowe moved the ball up and down the field on the Hatter defense, looking like a “very well oiled machine”.

Christian Ghorzi scored from 1 yard out to put Ludlowe up 14-8.

With Danbury driving, Bryan Pacewicz picked off Danbury QB Elijah Duffy. Ludlowe turned that into points when White ran in from 1 yard out, his 2nd touchdown of the game. Ludlowe led 20-8 at the half.

White would get another rushing touchdown in the 3rd quarter with 8:31 to go in the 3rd quarter to put Ludlowe up 27-8.

Ludlowe would tack on another touchdown when White hooked up with Danny Santella for a 26 yard touchdown pass. Ludlowe led 34-8 and that is the way that the game would finish up.

For the game, Ghorzi rushed 25 times for 131 yards and 1 score. White carried the ball 16 times for 66 yards and 3 scores.

It was an extremely well played game for Ludlowe who improved to 3-5 on the season. The Falcons look to continue their win streak next Thursday when they host the Norwalk Bears at 6pm. It is also Ludlowe “Senior Night” so come out and support your seniors.
