Ludlowe Basketball: Ludlowe Suffers Tough Overtime Loss To Stamford

Ludlowe fell to Stamford 44-41 in overtime on Friday night.

Both teams played pretty even, which makes sense since the game went to overtime.

Stamford was able to shut down Patrick Gutierrez, holding him scoreless in the first half and to 9 points.

Ludlowe was lead by Connor Peterson’s 13 points.

Stephen Scholz played well for the Falcons as well, contributing 9 points and 8 rebounds.

Late mistakes hurt the Falcons as they were outscored 18-13 in the fourth quarter and overtime combined.

Gianni Carwin led Stamford with 11 points.

Ludlowe drops to 5-7, 4-6 in the FCIAC. The have now dropped 3 in a row and will look to rebound when arch-rival Fairfield Warde comes to Ludlowe at Tuesday at 7:45.
