Ludlowe fell to Ridgefield by a lopsided score of 68-41 on Wednesday night.
Ludlowe looked good early, getting out to a commanding 13-3 after one thanks to great man defense.
In the second quarter, things took a turn for the worst. Ridgefield outscored Ludlowe 19-3, including a 17-1 run to take a 22-16 lead at half.
Early in the third, Ludlowe’s defense faltered as Ridgefield came out running and got some easy trasition buckets, whether it was off a miss or a make.
After three, Ridgefield led 48-32.
Ludlowe was outscored 20-9 in the fourth quarter as Ridgefield just kept on shooting the ball well.
Ridgefield was led by Kurt Steidl who put in 21 and Patrick Racy who had 13 points.
Ludlowe drops to 8-9 (7-8 in the FCIAC). The Falcons have to bounce back quickly as the travel down to New Canaan tomorrow to play an important game with the Rams.
