Ludlowe fell to New Canaan 41-39 on Thursday night.
New Canaan led 13-11 after one. At one point in the quarter Ludlowe trailed 11-4 before making a run.
Ludlowe dominated the second quarter and led 22-17 at half.
New Canaan outscored Ludlowe 14-10 in the third, but Ludlowe still held a 32-31 lead after three.
A very low scoring fourth quarter that went back and fourth saw New Canaan outscore Ludlowe 10-7 in the quarter.
Down 1 with 5 seconds left, Ludlowe had a shot but swarming New Canaan defense was able to not allow Ludlowe to get off a clear shot.
Ludlowe falls to 8-10 (7-9 in the FCIAC). The Falcons play next on Monday at Harding.
