Dick Blumenthal has apologized after not going that far at his press conference one week ago to try to put his war-service flap behind him. By not apologizing he extended this story. By doing so now he extends it a few more days.
The general election season is gonna get messy. Dick and his war gaffe, Linda McMahon, assuming she’s the GOP standard bearer, and her wrestling record.
How about a special steel cage match at the Arena at Harbor Yard between Dick “Jane Fonda-served-longer-than-me-in-Vietnam” Blumenthal and Linda “the-one-woman-riot-squad” McMahon.
Ah, just think of the underticket match possibilities.
