What’s going on around here? Two weeks ago nearly half the City Council was pushing, shoving, rolling on the benches and floor that would make wrestling guru Linda McMahon smile from nose to toes.
Monday night, with folks wondering if there would be a rematch between City Councilwoman Evette Brantley and community irritant Cecil Young, everyone was on the sweetest behavior. Oh, yes, peace and love and togetherness.
Lost in all the syrupy behavior, the City Council voted to raise your taxes last night. Must make you feel warm all over.

Someone should really check to see where all the council members have there motor vehicles registered. I wonder if it matches their addresses in Bridgeport. Everyone knows someone who registers their motor vehicle in another town to avoid the outrageous insurance rates in Bridgeport not to mention the taxes.
It is just like the democrat congress to raise taxes on the ones that were able to find a way to survive. You fore go raises to stay employed and watch your spending to sustain your credit. This apparently only applies to the Tax Paying citizen, these guidelines do not apply to The Liberal majority in our governments and to the HACK unions that are there hardcore voting base.
Cut some entitlements you talking dogs.
