In Mayor Bill Finch’s annual address to the City Council Monday night he said this:
When I was elected, I promised to make Bridgeport the cleanest, greenest, safest, most affordable city, with schools and neighborhoods that improve each year. While I believe we’ve done much to satisfy those goals, much remains to be done.

Finch hooked his wagon to Ned Lamont and lost BIG!!! The mayoralty is the longest Finch has held a job in his life and he now has nowhere to go. The voters didn’t see his (Finch’s) incompetence when Mario put Finch up against Caruso. And because he could no longer back Fabrizi and couldn’t control Caruso, Mario backed Finch who won by 270 votes and the electorate got what they deserved. Say what you will about Chris Caruso, he would have taken no prisoners and swept the money changers out of the temple.
Finch promised to lower taxes and give us all $600.He lied (I knew it was a lie-and I woted for Caruso).He created 6 figure jobs for cronies (and an $82,000 “spokeswoman”) while bullying and laying off union members.Cronyism and corruption is still alive in Bpt.Taxes are sky high,as is the murder rate.The schools are lousy,yet Ramos gets a quarter million a yr.He’s a lousy mayor.Let’s give Caruso a shot.The party endorsed stooges are killing us
