Tuesday is primary day in the state’s largest city featuring Mayor Bill Finch and challenger Mary-Jane Foster. Most polling precincts are traditional locations except for voters who generally cast a ballot at Wilbur Cross in the 135th District. They will vote at Park City Magnet School on Chopsey Hill. Voters for the traditional precinct Columbus School in the 136th District will go to Geraldine Johnson School on Lexington Avenue off North Avenue. Not sure where you vote? Call the Registrar’s Office at 203-576-7281.

We can only hope,Kid.It’s a shame the voters here keep re-electing these guys even though they do nothing(except grab $$$$ for themselves, and cronies)If Newton and Ganim weren’t jailed, those 2 would likely still be in office.Looks like the only way we will get rid of Finch is when they snap the handcuffs on him. That day can’t come soon enough.
There is absolutely NO COMPELLING REASON TO VOTE FOR BILL FINCH. He is under investigation by the State Elections Enforcement Commission for campaign finance irregularities that look suspiciously like money laundering and mail fraud. Even if he wins the primary (which is becoming more and more doubtful by the day), he will most likely be forced to resign from office to avoid criminal proceedings.
