Justin and Jon took to the internet following the Celtics 1st preseason game of 2009, a loss to the Houston Rockets 96-90. The Celtics jumped out to an early lead and Kevin Garnett looked strong, handling a hard foul under the basket by Brian Cook. He also began his recovery effort by nailing that pattened elbow jumper of his from the left side. Rasheed Wallace got a predictable “T” and Marquis Daniels displayed penetration, drive n’ dish, and fadeaway capabilities as well as difficulty in knocking down his FT’s. We spent an hour talking on those topics in addition to Lester Hudson, Scals at the 3, and Kendrick Perkins confidence factor.
