As in the previous two years, it is beginning to look more and more like an acquisition (or two) would help this team.

Players are becoming available around the league, but of course, we aren't privy to any of that. More important, do we have the pieces that other teams would want, save expiring contracts?

And does Danny see it that way?

Thanks Joe.

" Rajon Rondo had another solid game with 11 points, 8 assists, and 7 rebounds "" - Tom

                       ******

Thus the "misadventure" of begging the front office to GO NOW in acquiring a good backup to Rondo (since November this has been begged). For just about all teams in the league, except us, 'those' have seemed complicit with going and getting the best acquisition job done they could and getting very capable player-backup(s) to sub for their point guards. But NO. With Boston its always the front office assuring us that we already have a capable point guard backup-then naming those off, and every NAME they say, can't handle the play-making composite of a good sub point guard, for the Celtics. And I'd have to check the "box" to see how many minutes Jayson Williams (back up PG to Jameer Nelson-Magics) logged for the Magic last night. But, no. It has to turn inevitable that he has to come in and kill us with 2 3balls made within a close amount of time-(unguarded, no one on Boston tried to "run him off the three arc" those two shots) . But no. We already have guys who can handle point guard-subbing for Boston, like Jayson can handle it for Orlando. I'm "From Missouri" on that one. Show me Danny.
