Make dish washing a little more enjoyable

I’m apparently on quite a citrus kick these past couple of weeks. Maybe it’s the frigid temperatures. Maybe it reminds me of warm weather and sunshine – more Tropics, less Arctic.

But regardless of the motivation, I was at Big Y in Bethel this morning buying the ingredients for beef stew and homemade bread, (it’s just that kind of a day,) and came across this Seventh Generation Natural Dish Liquid with a….come on, you can guess…a citrus scent. To be precise, it’s Lemongrass and Clementine Zest, and the combination is simply heavenly.

Before I told you about it, though, I came home and quickly washed the breakfast dishes with it, just to make sure it cleaned well. It did.

Made without synthetic fragrances, its scent comes from essential oils and botanical extracts including clementine, bergamot, lemongrass, elemi, (which has a spicy, citrus scent,) and orange. “Scents from fields, not factories,” it says on the bottle.

I like that.
