As reported by Mashable, Youtube announced last Thursday that Justin Bieber’s video for “Baby ft. Ludacris” has surpassed Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance” music video as the most-viewed Youtube video of all time.
The battle between the pop heavy-weights came as both videos reach more than 245 million views each late last week.
Bieber’s success was tweeted by Youtube early Thursday afternoon when “Baby” reached 245,074,968 views, but Lady Gaga soon clawed back into contention with 245,092,155 view, prompting another Youtube tweet.
After battling all weekend, Bieber reigns supreme. As of Tuesday afternoon, “Baby” reached more than 250 million views while Lady Gaga pulls in second with a little over 248 million.
On a side note- the ever-adorable “Charlie bit my finger- again!” video is third on Youtube’s most viewed video list, beats Bieber and Gaga. Maybe not in views, but overall.
Because well, Charlie bit his finger.
