Greenpeace has released a series of “storybook” ads that would probably give kids nightmares, Buzz 60′s Patrick Jones reports.
The ads are meant to alert the public to the dangers of excessive tree-cutting.
One of the “stories” tells of a happy bird family that dies in a tree: “Once, Mama Bird and Papa Bird were building a nest in the forest. Suddenly, one of the eggs started to hatch, so Papa Bird didn’t notice the tree that fell and killed them all.”
Greenpeace proceeds to kill off a three baby squirrels and a pair of rabbits in two other ads.
