Car crashes into Conn. swimming pool

A man and two children were hospitalized Sunday when their car left the road and landed on its roof in a swimming pool in Ledyard.

According to NBC Connecticut, the car struck a pole and traffic box before going through a guard rail and making an inverted landing in the pool around 1 a.m. Ages of the children were not released. One child suffered a broken leg and the other sustained a serious arm injury.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as Marcus Harvin, 25, of New Britain.
