Dotted Lines

So is this a yea or nay as a side table? It obviously wouldn’t work in every room, but certainly would be a conversation piece no matter where it is. This dot art piece is available at All Modern,  which is part of the CSN Stores family. Happy news? It’s on sale, now $220, marked down from $660.

Restoration Hardware Sale

In 1958 Danish designer Arne Jacobsen designed the iconic “egg” chair that was meant to embrace its sitter. Restoration Hardware has created its own contemporary riff on this fabulous chair, using leather and hair-on-hide combinations. I think these would be terrific in a study or den. Just love the metal version below, although you’d really need the right setting. And to further tease your interest, all of these are on sale now. Which one would you buy if you could?

Copenhagen Chair Hair-on-Hide Back, $1595-$1755

Copenhagen Hair-on-Hide Front Chair, $1595-$1755

Aviator Chair, Distressed Whiskey, $1595

Spitfire Chair, $995-$110

Got Milk?

Looking for some unusual lamps to finish a guest room or spotlight a cozy corner? These vintage style milk can lamps with burlap shades might be just the thing. Available at Farmhouse Wares — a favorite stop of mine for country/rustic decor without annoying cutsyness — they come as a set and are each 6″X9″. They take 40 watt bulbs and, happy day!, are on sale. $62.90 for the two of them.

Decor Deal a Day!

I discovered this great decor deal of the day website, Wuslu, and am passing on the good news to you. Here’s how it works: The owners of the site post a deal a day, thanks to their extensive database of manufacturers and suppliers. They offer it up to you, one at a time, a day at a time. Once it’s sold it’s gone (or if the time hits 10 a.m. EST). How great is that! You can also sign up for alerts on their website, which seems like a no-brainer to me. Anyway here’s a sample deal from last week to let you see the possibilities: Buy two pillar holders and get four free pillars. Total price: $21. It’s like Christmas every day at Wuslu.
