Mike 125, how do you know NC would beat EL by 40 pts. Have you seen EL play this year?, or did you just look at your Magic eight ball? Do me a favor, go on your computer and google “Last team that beat NC in playoffs” ….Let me save you some time, EL came down and took it to the Rams, in NC. Now I’m not saying that EL is better than them this year, and there is still a lot of football left, but I guarantee you Coach Marinelli will be very curious about EL if they beat Fitch Friday night.

after watching the game st. joes played against NC they are a very good football team. They may not lose another game all season as long as they dont let this past game affect them too much. they have three line backers that are the real deal and can really play great football. NC’s passing attack is just too much for any team, st. joes blitzed them all day and the NC oline picked up everything except when baty rolled out of the pocket on those boot plays.

the RB (44) from St Joe’s is the real deal. He’s listed at 190 but he’s got to be 215 – and he’s a Jr – very good player

Too much football left to be played. St. Joes has an excellent chance to win the state championship in their division if they qualify.

Central has one tough game left on their schedule–New Canaan.

Where the heck is JR the mailman? Greenwich losses and you never hear from him.

How on earth did Stamford beat Trumbull? McMahon beat Stamford

Prince Tech might keep Cromwell or Ansonia from making the state tournament.

East Lyme beat Ledyard yesterday, huge win for them. One big game left, at Fitch next week. Only loss was by one point to New London. Always a physical, tough team that may provide competition for NC in States.

When those really big games come up at the end of the season, I’ll still put my money on New Canaan, even though I am not a big NC fan…you not only have to beat their players, but you have to outcoach them as well. NC had what, two or three 4th and longs yesterday and they went for it and got it — with receivers wide open on the two I remember. If they are both “on”, I think it would be a pretty interesting duel between Baty and Lefflbine…and even with their QB injured, the Staples staff is right on par with New Canaan’s…should be a great finish to the FCIAC season.

Baty is the real deal – but i am not sure that offense is as efficient as it’s been in yrs past – in the spread, the efficiency of the offense is a direct correlation to how long the qb has been working in it

Pompy has the D-backs to play NC and the run game to win. Too bad it won’t happen. Baty will give all teams fits, though. No QB controversy at NC, just some good public relations management by the coaching staff. Baty is the real deal.
