CENTRALStaplesAnd now we switch gears to the southern Fairfield County Super Bowl:

The FCIAC championship game. Staples (9-0) vs. Central (8-1). Kickoff is 7:30 p.m.

And, of course, we’ll be blogging live from the event withfciac title Henry Chisholm at the controls and me out in the field with my phone and the video camera. 5. That was clearly a fumble. What a crime to say it wasn’t.

I still can not understand why Central called a TO when Satples was out of TO’s & the clock was running.

  6. Central had a fumble that should have been as well, the refs in general were pretty bad. GREAT game though.

  7. Why does a city school, with so many tremendous athletes, have such a conservative offense? You would think towns like Darien, New CAnaan and Greenwich would have conservative offenses yet they throw the ball all over the place.
