  1. SPB….That’s one hell of a Walter Camp All Connecticut Football Team!!!!! You have to love that Chris Valenti(Bethel) is on the team, and he is only a junior…..There are some great football player’s on this team.

  2. Great list…..but Jake Santora was not a TE.

  3. Frank is soo right. Santora should never have made the team as a TE over Macari of New Canaan. There was a couple of mistakes but overall I think it is the best represented all-state team of any i have seen. The other faux pas’ IMO are Palmer at QB-should have been Della Vecchia of St Joes, and Berglund of Wolcott????? Dom Diglio of ND-WH was way more deserving!!
Other then those 3 spot on

  4. You must be flipping Sean, no one from Masuk?

  5. Flipping? I think this is a marvelous team… very much looks like the CTPost all-stars, with a few out-of-region exceptions.

  6. Santora’s award at the banquet was in fact for linebacker – and well deserved. Seems like they actually took an extra defensive player and ended up having to slot one of them in on the offense to even it off. He just ended up being the one.

There is some pretty good video of the whole breakfast including the team and interviews here:
