Ann,
Take a chill pill. The guy posts what he gets from McD's. I highly doubt he is trying to take away recognition from a high school student.

Get off your high horse and calm down! Unreal.

I think you are missing names on your list, there are 27 boys and 17 girls!

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Actually, 20 boys & 14 girls if I counted right...Anyway, did you notice that at least 1/2 of the boys team is made up of private school kids?...I didn't check the girl's list, sorry...

When I checked out the MaxPreps website yesterday looking for D-1 Football recruits who had committed (signed) from CT, there were 12 of them....9 of the 12 kids were from (expensive) private schools, the other 3 from public high schools...

My question is, Why?...Are they truly better athletes at their sport & position?...Or, are the D-1 colleges making sure that their signed recruits are going to be academically OK?...With them feeling that the private school kids will be able to make the grades to be eligible to play?...I'm just wondering, and throwing it out there for discussion, although I know this thread is pretty much spent...

SPB.........I can't believe that Lauralton Hall fired Coach Steve Schuler? Here is a coach who's having a great season(13-1) going into tonight's game and they give him his walking papers this morning. It just show's in a private school (money talks). You have a few parents who complained that there kid was not playing that much, and the coach gets fired. It had to be more then one parent that complained. In high school schools, public or private schools, you want to win. Just because a parents kid is not getting much playing time (and they are paying 16k a year) they fired Coach Schuler. He has done an outstanding job at LH. Why could AD. N. Camara wait until after the season is over??? I can imagine who the parents were??? I seen it happen in another private school. It start with one parent and the parent got more parent's involved and the coach was gone. Just because the player was not getting enough playing time. Maybe, the player is not that good and that's why she is not playing that much???? There is no question, that there were more then one parent complaining........Money talks in these private schools....Like Coach Schuler said, what coach would resign, with the best player in the State(K. Langley) and a 13-1 record. It's sad that he will not be able to get his 100th win at LH....something he worked very hard for. Shame on you LH, I thought you took better pride in your school and the way you handle the way you run your school......
