Ray you are dilusional. I still don’t understand your argument. If I picked Naugy, Holy Cross and Seymour to upset and they didn’t, does that make the NVL a weaker conference? The FCIAC has enjoyed pretty good success over the NVL over the past few years. I can’t speak for the SCC, but assume you are talking about scrimmages, which mean nothing.

But I think you are missing the point of your own argument (which you continually start). Even if we concede to your point that Ansonia is the greatest program ever to grace our fair state, both the SCC and FCIAC have 5 teams each who are better than the next best team in the NVL. Whoever the #2 NVL team is (Wolcott, Naugy, Woodland?) is not better than WH, X, Hand, Hillhouse, NDWH, Greenwich, Staples, SJ, NC, Darien.

KARMA=====its hard to pick upsets when teams dont have the talent to pop up and “{upset” somebody. how many actual upsets were there in the area?none.the closest i came was derby-shelton.derby a mediocre nvl team and shelton from the mighty scc.did you see some of those scc scores?whenwas the last time FAIRFIELD we’re back PREP won on thanksgiving?has law,east,haven,hamden,guilford,lyman hall ever won?thats why i state half these conferences stink.i wont even mention FCIAC automatics.GHS —-i would love to see GREENWICH come down to JARVIS—NDWH,WEST HAVEN AND SHELTON DO–ask them how its worked out.

@10- Ray, good job…You did get “Gobble That” right…Since we’ll never play a real game, how about starting a pre-season scrimmage tradition?…We have one with Masuk, already…Might even be able to charge admission to a Greenwich-Ansonia scrimmage…I admit, that would be interesting…

Nice try Ray.Although M is not as Loaded as the “Big Boys”,M is still overall bettet than S.I will easily put Hillhouse and St Josephs up against #2-#8 in Class S.Please give me the biggest Victory or closest played game against a Ranked team amongst all Class S teams.

im happy i dont bet on football it wouldnt have been a profitable day——-on the other hand karma—-it reaffirms my knowledge on how piss poor half of these “super conference teams really are”.if the S is weak
how bad is the M this year?at least the S has a couple of unbeatens and of course the FCIACS TRINITY CATHOLIC.

In Defense of the Chargers,I do not believe they can”Move Up” in class due to CIAC Regulations.I always hope for the open enrollment division to prove to all on the field of play who is the best team in Connecticut.On another note,my early season feelings about a very weak S Division has come to fruition.IMO this definely hurts Ansonia foer a #1 ranking especiall if they are the only undefeated team remaining although this is probably unlikely.

class football playoffs depend on boy enrollment—basketball is different mainly because parochial school basketball recruits,therofore the ciac decided they have the option of playing with big boys.ghs your lucky greenwic is not in S— —ANSONIA WOULD EMBARASS THEM.i believe ansonia was in M last year —-where was st.joes? davek–another big year for gaels?
