Way off the radar screen but QB Austin Whipple, son of Mark Whipple (the former Univ New Haven coach and long time NFL assistant), who played prep ball at the Salisbury School in the far NW corner of the state… signed to play at Penn State.

UConn making a push for Boyle…..new OC visited w/ him for 3 hrs last week….
Trinity was making a push for Whipple. During his visit I’d heard he had an offer to walk-on at PSU. Looks like he prefers to try the I-A route even though he probably won’t ever see the field

I’ve watched Matos in passing league for the past 2 years. Rhode Island is getting a terrific player. Congratulations to him.
Just looking over the recruiting for the state, For such a small state we do pretty good. 5 QB’s going to play div1 football 3 with full scholarships. Thats pretty impressive if you ask me. Even the two without scholarships are going to good schools in Bryant and PSU. I was wondering where the kid Fleeting is going from South Windsor I thought he was pretty good, anyone?
