Brian Gordon
Brian Gordon has been named the next head coach at Central.
Gordon, 40, replaces Dave Cadelina, under whom he served as the defensive coordinator since 2008.
A Bloomfield native and Southern Connecticut State graduate, Gordon has been a Spanish teacher at Central for the last six years. His previous coaching stops included Sacred Heart University and Assumption College in Worcester, Mass.
Gordon’s best known for putting together Central’s stifling 2009 defense, which was the cornerstone of the team’s 9-2 FCIAC runner-up season.
Central has had two straight losing seasons since going 6-4 in 2010.

Good luck to coach Gordon and the Hilltopers. I wish them well.
My inside source said it came down to Gordon and Rico Brogna
Brogan? Heard he’s a finalist for Torrington. Read it on NVL blog.
Congrats to Coach Gordon.
Rico Brogna? Ha!
Rico will not get another job in CT for his actions at ND
Congrats coach G, wish I had another year left to be a hilltopper for one more year!
