Crosby (1-6) at Seymour (4-3), 7: Bulldogs’ lone win came two weeks ago against Immaculate. And no, it wasn’t by forfeit. Seymour’s won three of last four.

Wolcott (4-3) at Derby (4-3), 7: Wolcott’s been blown out by top-five teams, Newtown and Ansonia, last two weeks. Small’s injury has proven costly for Red Raiders.

Greenwich (4-3) at Bridgeport Central (0-7), 4:30: Cardinals looking to run the table until Thanksgiving.

Harding (2-5) at Bassick (1-5) 7: Bassick has legitimate shot at first Park City crown in a long time.

Trinity Catholic (0-7) at Stamford (1-6) 6: Black Knights picked up first win last week, can Crusaders earn theirs against City rival?

Staples (5-2) at  Trumbull (6-1) 7: Two of leagues top quarterbacks face off in what could be last road block to Eagles making the FCIAC championship game.

Norwalk (3-4) at Ridgefield (5-2) 7: Tigers very tough at home and still have outside shot at LL playoffs.

Brien McMahon (6-0) at Fairfield Ludlowe (4-3) 7: Senators back after week off to continue unbeaten campaign.

St. Joseph (7-0) at New Canaan (7-0) 7: First place in East on the line. Oh, and it is No. 2 vs No. 3 in the state in the most anticipated game of the season.

Sheehan (2-5) at  Fairfield Warde (2-5) 7: Neither team got fill of FCIAC-SCC Challenge, so they are back for more.

West Haven (6-1) at Wilbur Cross (3-4), 3:30: Cross looks to keep McCarthy from career win No. 323.

Amity (4-3) at Fairfield Prep (5-2), 6: Jesuits need every win they can get to stay alive in LL playoff hunt.

Hamden (3-4) at Shelton (5-2), 7: Gaels made one too many mistakes in last week’s loss to Hand. Struggling Hamden might be more forgiving.

Cheshire (3-4) at Notre Dame-West Haven (2-5), 7: Rams lost by 26 last week, while Green Knights were crushed by 41. Someone will bounce back.

Guilford (3-4) at Jonathan Law (1-5), 7: Guilford’s best chance to get back to .500.

East Haven (1-6) at Foran (5-2), 7:  Lions are rolling since loss to Shelton, with three straight blowout wins. East Haven’s been shut out four times.

Stratford (3-4) at Masuk (4-3), 7: Panthers are reeling, having allowed 140 points over three-game losing skid. The unbeaten start seems like ages ago.

Newtown (7-0) at New Fairfield (5-2), 7: Nighthawks have racked up at least 47 points in each of last four wins. Top seed in Class LL seems likely, doesn’t it?

Bunnell (3-4) at Pomperaug (2-5), 7: Two proud programs, two trying campaigns.

Oxford (4-3) at Joel Barlow (6-1), 7,  at Western Connecticut State: Falcons quarterback Jack Shaban rushed for 207 yards and four scores last week. We’ll see if Wolverines are ready.

Wilton (3-4) at Darien (6-1) 1:30: Warriors have been giving top teams fits all year but have not yet pulled off the upset.

Danbury (3-4) at Westhill (3-4) 2 pm: Hatters going for back-to-back wins while Vikings try to push win streak to 3.

SWC | By Doug Bonjour

New Milford (2-5) at Notre-Dame Fairfield (0-7), 2:30: Green Wave was stunned on final play in last week’s loss to Bunnell. Winless Lancers could be perfect cure for their heartbreak.

Brookfield (6-1) at Weston (3-4), 3: Bobcats keep getting stronger and stronger. Trojans, not so much.

Should be a good game, but those schools/towns are outside of our coverage area, so they are not included in the Guide or Elite 8.
