FCIAC/SCC Challenge: Year Two

Are you ready for some football?

With several schools due to take the field this month for spring practices, the 2014 season will unofficially begin. Sure, the games are still a few months away, but it’s not too early to look ahead. The schedule for Year Two of the FCIAC-SCC Challenge was released on Wednesday. The FCIAC finished with a 9-8 edge in last season’s matchups, which will remain the same.

Wednesday, Sept. 10

McMahon at Wilbur Cross, 4 p.m.

Ridgefield at Cheshire, 6 p.m.

East Haven at Bassick, 6 p.m.

Harding at Law, 7 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 11

Darien vs. Hillhouse (at Wilbur Cross), 4 p.m.

Stamford vs. Fairfield Prep (at Warde), 7 p.m.

St. Joseph at Notre Dame-West Haven, 7 p.m.

Central at North Haven, 7 p.m.

Shelton at Trumbull, 7 p.m.

Lyman Hall at Ludlowe, 7 p.m.

Guilford at Wilton, 7 p.m.

Amity at Seymour, 6 p.m. (Not part of SCC/FCIAC Challenge)
