DOING A DOUBLE TAKE

st1115strockette-04A passenger can’t quite believe his eyes as Katie Walker, a member of the world famous Rockettes, rides the southbound Metro-North train from Stamford Saturday morning to promote the railroad’s Radio City Christmas Spectacular excursion package.  I witnessed a lot of these expressions as I rode along with the girls, famously known for their high leg kick chorus line.  Kids, on the other hand, were quick to jump up for photos and ask for autographs.

  2. Capturing contrasting subjects in one frame, like this,
not only makes for arresting photos, but increases the
    informative value.

Stamford has endless contrast opportunities to explore: warm places
in the frosty winter; a patch of color in a gray
landscape; blue and white uniforms on green fields, lush foliage by barren lots; rocky shores (financial and physical); and wide diversity among the citizenry.

I look forward to seeing many more, here.
