ABOVE: Emanuel Lai, 7, of Greenwich, shouts “rock on” after he and other students from the Chinese Language School of Connecticut performed a traditional Chinese song during the Year of the Tiger Chinese New Year Festival at the Stamford Plaza Hotel and Conference Center.

Emanuel Lai was in full rock-star mode as he and fellow classmates performed a traditional Chinese song during the dragon dance.

I don’t imagine air guitar is a staple any other Chinese New Year festivals, but I certainly got pretty good laugh out of it.
