This week I photographed a guy named Todd Angell getting the Warrior Award in Danbury. He already was given the Silver Star for running thru a mine field in Afghanistan, in the dark, to save the life of a Marine sergeant whose legs were blown off.
The challange I felt was to come up with an image that reflected what this 22-year-old deserved. I hope the expression on his face and the framing came close to being worthy of this guy’s bravery.
