During the past decade, Art21 has established itself as the preeminent chronicler of contemporary art and artists through its Peabody Award-winning biennial television series, “Art in the Twenty-First Century.” The nonprofit organization has used the power of digital media to introduce millions of people of all ages to contemporary art and artists and has created a new paradigm for teaching and learning about the creative process. Each free screening includes a “brown bag” lunch, refreshments, a craft and discussion. In January:
- “Play”, Saturday, January 19 … 12:00 noon, Rowayton Arts Center Studio
- “Humor”, Monday, January 28 … 12:00 noon, The Rowayton Library
For details about each episode, visit www.art21.org/films. Screenings will continue at RAC on the 3rd Saturday of each month and at the library on the 4th Monday of each month through May.
