Accompanied by a large number of their Foran High classmates, P.J. Heron, 19, and his sister, Alexa, 15 were laid to rest today.
St. Agnes Church was nearly full for the brother and sister’s funeral Mass at 10:30.
Students carried white roses and wore badges with Alexa’s photo, and others served as pallbears. The high school choir sang hymns.
Bonnie Heron, the teens’ mother, said in a statement handed out in church “On behalf of my most pecious children I want to thank each and every one of you for your comfort and presence.”
P.J. and Alexa were killed Sunday afternoon, when their car struck a utility pole on Gulf Street.
