375th Anniversary Milford calendars are now on sale

In observance of the 375th anniversary of the founding of Milford, the Historical Society has published a 2014 calendar with contemporary local scenes.

Dates corresponding to key moments in the town’s history and notices of Society activities are highlighted.

The calendar was designed and compiled by Dan Ortoleva. Calendars are available for $15 in the general store when the Society houses are open or at Society meetings.

    I recall the 325 anniversary celebrations, but not in a lot of detail. I do remember my father Gordon Thomas growing a great set of mutton-chop sideburns as part of the festivities. And I seem to recall some activities going on at the fields of Milford High School. I was 10 y.o. at the time.
