Furby toys being auctioned for charity

Ellen Majewski lost her brother Eddie to Lymphoblastic T-cell Lymphoma three years ago, when Eddie was 49.

“The grief has been overwhelming and I am trying to find my purpose again,” Majewski said in an e-mail.

One of the positive things she is doing is donating 35 percent of the sale price of the 2013 Furby Boom Collection, which she is auctioning on e-Bay, to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

The Milford woman has set a minimum bid price of $2,500 for the complete set of the popular dolls, manufactured by Hasbro Toys. If she gets that, society will get $762.

Majewski said that the auction will close on Dec. 14. You can check it out here:

Or you can donate directly to the Society in Eddie’s memory here.

And Majewski offers this suggestion:

If you cannot make a bid, please perform a random act of kindness

in memory of a loved one.
