The Woodmont Farmers’ Market kicks off its 7th season on Wednesday, June 25. Located at the Robert Treat Farm, 1339 New Haven Avenue at the corner of Merwin Avenue in Milford, the Woodmont Farmer’s Market is open every Wednesday, from 3:30-6:30 p.m., June 25 through August 27, rain or shine.
The market offers a wide variety of Connecticut items such as fresh fish, pasture-raised beef, locally-grown vegetables, seasonal fruit, cheeses, baked goods and specialty food items. Each week spotlights a guest musician as well as multiple artisans and food trucks.
Exciting new additions this year include coffee, olive oil, mushrooms and locally-raised beef, as well as more food trucks – dessert, Big Green Truck Pizza, Coco Tamale and a fourth rotating food truck. We will have two guest artisans each week and one musician.
Popular returning vendors are Robert Treat Farm, Gambardella Seafood, Kathy’s Cookies, Scratch Baking, Jane’s Good Food, South of the Green Honey, and the Lemon Sisters. New vendors include Smith’s Acres (locally grown produce & fruit), Connecticut Gourmet (artisanal breads), Mystic Cheese Company, Smyth’s Trinity Farm (dairy), Toplands Farm (local-raised beef), Best Buddy Biscuits (dog & cat treats), Shearwater Coffee Roasters, Mountaintop Mushrooms and Dash & Drizzle (olive oil & balsamic vinegar).
