While the AC72s were battling it out for a place in the America’s Cup last week, junior sailors around the country were competing for their own club championship regattas on the water.  This year, Longshore Sailing School’s pool of competitors was “one of the most talented Racing Techniques classes ever,” according to the school’s president and owner John Kantor. During the week-long class, students learn strategies from Kantor on land, then battle it out on the race course.  This year’s winner: 14-year-old Emily Schussheim.
