Seems reasonable enough – “don’t make us pay for health care reform by cutting Medicare.” I can agree with that:
But the goal of the ad’s sponsor is NOT to protect Medicare, it’s to defeat health care reform:
The 60 Plus Association is a 17-year-old nonpartisan organization working for death tax repeal, saving Social Security, affordable prescription drugs, lowering energy costs and other issues featuring a less government, less taxes approach. 60 Plus has been called “the conservative alternative to the AARP.”

Living in a free country, we all have a right to our politics. I may think yours are lowdown, despicable bilge, but I believe you have every right to your beliefs. Standing up for what you believe in is a value we teach our children. Don’t be ashamed of your ideals.
On the other hand, there’s dirty politics. Politics that make you wince or maybe rage. When more than 60 percent of the voters strongly favor a strong public option, how do our elected representatives ignore them? Connecticut’s Lieberman stabbed his constituents right between the shoulder blades on this issue. What little the Democrat’s had managed to save from republican obstructionists is in danger thanks to Joe. Why do Connecticut voters put up with this obvious con job? Lieberman was elected by his Democratic constituents. He never mentioned that he was in fact a George W Bush style republican. He was given a powerful committee chairmanship in return for his support on domestic issues. This despite his abominable behaviour during the election.
The rest of us out in the other 49 states have got to call on you people in Connecticut. You’ve go to have a recall election and send Joe off to work as a health insurence lobbyist. Maybe he could get a job at the same healthinsurence company as his wife. You’ve just GOT to get rid of this snake in the grass. Would you want your kids to learn to behave like Joe? To laugh and smile while backstabbing his party and his constituents. What a guy. Can him. There’s no room in the Democratic caucus for a Benedict Arnold, backstabbing traitor,

Unfortunately, the U.S. Constitution does not allow recall elections for Senators.
