As reported in the right-wing rag, the Washington Times:
Former New York Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani called President Obama soft on terrorism for deciding to try the acknowledged mastermind of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on U.S. soil, and said it would increase the security risk to the city.






Both U.S. Sen. Charles Schumer and NYC Police Commissioner Ray Kelly think security risks will be increased and Kelly estimates it could cost $75 million for security if the trial last a year.

But neither thinks it’s the wrong thing to do – and neither thinks it means Obama is “soft on terrorism” which was the point of my comment.
