What an angry little man. He doesn’t have a prayer, but his spending will be a little local stimulus up until November.

Passion isn’t anger, and he’s by no means little. Polls say he has the best chance to win, but prayer doesn’t hurt, either.

Indeed, Ned Lamont’s proved himself a man of great courage, taking on one of the most prominent and powerful politicians in Connecticut and the nation, and challenging that politician on the moral issue of an immoral war.
Far from “not having a prayer”, Mr. Lamont has been shown over the past three years to have gained popularity in numerous polls asking voters about a rematch with Joe Lieberman, and he leads all candidates, Democratic and Republican, for the gubernatorial nomination.
He might be angry, but so are most Americans. We’re angry at Joe Lieberman, at Republican incompetence, and at Republican intransigence in the face of the growing health care crisis. And, yes, most Nutmeggers were angry as hell at George Bush. It’s why Democratic voter registration surged when Ned Lamont declared he was challenging Joe Lieberman, and why it continues to rise as Republican registration falls.
That is the sign of greatness. He’ll make a superb governor.
