Music from Mantua 1580-1625: Christian, Jewish and Courtly Works From the Late Renaissance

The Renaissance Revival chamber choir will present Music from Mantua 1580-1625: Christian, Jewish and Courtly Works From the Late Renaissance at 7 p.m. April 28 at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St., Willimantic.

The program will feature Christian and Jewish sacred works, including several pieces for a double choir, that originated in Mantua, Italy, during the late 1500s and early 1600s. The program will conclude with a selection of madrigal performances.
