This is a travesty. Read the bill!! The Government has again set it up to play a shell game with the money trail and organizational funding. Catholic education loses my support for signatory organizations.

I hope the press and TV start releasing this type of info to the public soon (especially the 10 serious unanswered questions Rob Simmons has recently asked Linda McMahon regarding the blatant abuse of steroid drugs by WWE wrestlers during her reign as WWE CEO)...medical doctors and other drug-testing experts say the WWE's drug-testing policy is a joke, full of loopholes (these loopholes must be why her husband and son-in-law Triple H" were "exempt" from drug screening)...also, Irvin Muchnick, award-winning sports author, who has written a book called "Chris and Nancy", about the murder-suicide of WWE wrestler Chris Benoit and his family, and about the WWE's "Cocktail of Death", will be at the Stamford and Farmington CT Borders bookstores on March 25th to talk about how the McMahons knew all about the rampant and dangerous steroid abuse in the WWE, and how they tried to minimize their knowledge when questioned after the Benoit tragedy...

McMahon and her supporters are trying to dismiss much of this as pointless, "old news", that all congressional investigation into steroid drug abuse in the WWE was concluded (it was dropped because of beauracratic mishandling when Congressman Waxman was transferred to another agency last year, and not ended as a result of satisfying answers by McMahon!)...I feel this investigation should be re-opened!...

She now employs CT Republican Party boss, Chris Healy's wife on her payroll in a high-paying position...what kind of ethics is that?

She also claims ignorance about the lewd, mock pornographic ring "skits" that denigrated women and children during her tenure as CEO...what kind of CEO was she if she didn't have any idea of what was happening in the ring?...and I find it incredible that she now sits on the CT State Board of Education!...

I think these observations and questions clearly show the real character of this individual, and not the person the barrage of her slick TV and radio ads would try to make CT voters believe...

Summarizing, McMahon must think that if she throws enough money ($50M?) into her campaign, she can just buy her way into (or out of) anything she wants...I think that any Republican or Independent CT voter with half a brain can see right through her charade!

"...because I want his voice to remain in the campaign." Really, Jon? Seems rather contradictory to lucid and damning statements that you've made in the past - that you think Mr. Alpert is detestable and should withdrawal from the Senate race. Hell, even the title of your previous blog concerning this (non)issue was "Adios Merrick Alpert." Your duplicity is very unbecoming, and undermines what credibility you may have among your readers for your reporting on the issues.
